Live Oak High School | Baton Rouge, Louisiana
$179 for One Session, $279 for Two Sessions
College Football Prospect ID Showcase events will feature two sessions, Offense and Defense. This gives players the opportunity to pick the session that best fits their position. All college coaches will attend each session. It is a very active day for both coaches and players. Players should be prepared for a lot of football and to have conversations with coaches.
The Offense Session will run from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
The Defense Session will run from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
The event is for those prospective student-athletes who are focused on pursuing football at the collegiate level or want to learn more about that process. The camp will feature a quality line up of college football coaches who are there to instruct and evaluate players in an individual and team setting. The College Football Prospect ID Showcase is open to all high school football players and has limited enrollment. These camps are compliant with all NCAA, NAIA, and JC rules.
All players will receive verbal feedback from the different levels of college football coaches represented at the camp. Each College Football Prospect ID Showcase can differ slightly when it comes to feedback given. Because we want full interaction between coaches and players, we do not provide written evaluations. We ask our staff to be fully engaged in the teaching and evaluating process and offer feedback when appropriate based on their experiences at their level of college football. This will allow each participating football player the opportunity to get a much clearer idea of where their skills may fit at the college level.
Each segment of camp will consist of skill evaluation, training, and instruction. Players will have the opportunity to receive advanced instruction from the college coaches in their primary position. Each player will be taken through a series of drills in their specific position. All players will be divided into small groups by their position. Players will receive continued instruction on their position, as well as offensive and defensive team concepts, during the competition segment. The college coaches in attendance will run drills that they use with their own teams during practices. All players will be split into teams by skill level. This also ensures that prospects will have time to interact with the coaches and learn from them in a small group setting.
This is an open discussion between the college coaches, the players, and the family of the players. There are many myths and misunderstandings about participating in college athletics. This discussion is a chance to ask questions and get informed about some of the rules and regulations of college athletics. Topics like, NCAA rules, the NCAA Eligibility Center, What Coaches Look For, What to Expect Playing College Athletics, and How to Promote Yourself will be covered, when done in person. If held virtually, it will be emailed to the participant’s email address before or shortly after camp.
